Government amends 'unenforceable' Equality Act compromise agreement provisions

A resolution to the potential problems regarding compromise agreements, that it has been argued would have led to the agreements being "unenforceable", will come into force on 6th April 2012.

The Government has published an amendment to legislation on compromise agreements under the Equality Act 2010, after employment lawyers said that the wording of it made compromise contracts "unenforceable".
